Dr. Ashish Chauhan

Dr. Ashish Chauhan is a consultant interventional cardiologist based in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. His clinical work covers the full range of adult cardiology — chest pain and coronary artery disease, heart failure, rhythm disturbances, valve disease, and the long-term management of blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes-related cardiac risk.

After completing his MBBS, he trained in internal medicine at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, and went on to superspecialise in cardiology at SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He subsequently worked as a cardiologist at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in Okhla, New Delhi, and taught as an assistant professor at Rohilkhand Medical College, Bareilly.

He is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) and a member of the Acute Cardiovascular Care Association of the European Society of Cardiology. In interventional practice he performs coronary angiography and angioplasty, including primary angioplasty in acute heart attack, along with pacemaker and device implantation.
